We are delighted to have had the opportunity to interview DJ Kyro. Break-in Time is out now! Check out the interview and mix.
Hosted by Benny Mc the two gentlemen discussed the new mix and his philosophy on music and life and bringing love and happiness.
Set up as an alias for online gaming but a true music fan he quickly descended into the music scene doing gigs and shows. Covid hit and Kyro needed to change. He really liked Daftphunksand that approach and wanted to put his own unique take on the concept of bringing shows to the online world via Mixcloud. loving the amenity of a mask and the intrigue that comes along with it KYRO doesn't let much slip. The man is trained lol
Kyro spends the majority of his time working with the visuals to ensure the helmet is in sync with the music. It is a new layer of choreography that synchronizes the music, body, and lighting into one seamless entity. What is truly inspiring is that Kyro doesn't pump endless amounts of money into his craft. He is in second-hand shops buying parts that hopefully add to this current setup.
Why is that important? In this day and age, it is easier to be superior at anything you do if you spend enough so the humility of the approach has to be applauded.
DJ Kyro narrows down his musical choice to about 60 songs. His Club and POP sounds are his go-to and finding unique remixes for his sets etc-. Blending some classics with the new school I am a fan. He has over 14k fans on his Mixcloud account and I can see why. That is more impressive when you realize he only released two mixes this year! With Kyro it is Quality over Quantity and it works a treat!
